PENTAKSIRAN BILIK DARJAH (PBD)
(9.6.2020 - 23.6.2020)








1. This assessment has been prepared in the form of a project and it covers all the skills for Year 2. 
1. Pentaksiran ini dijalankan dalam bentuk projek dan meliputi keseluruhan kemahiran bagi murid-murid Tahun 2.


a) The YEAR 2 CLASSROOM-BASED ASSESSMENT & THE READING FLUENCY TASK should be given to students 2 weeks before the presentation day. For reading fluency task, pupils read all the passages. 
a) PENTAKSIRAN BILIK DARJAH DAN TUGASAN KEFASIHAN KEMAHIRAN MEMBACA akan diberi kepada murid 2 minggu sebelum masa untuk pembentangan. Untuk tugasan kefasihan kemahiran membaca, murid perlu membaca keseluruhan petikan.



b) For LANGUAGE ARTS activity, students make a robot using recycled material and prepare for their presentation within 2 weeks.
b) Untuk tugasan SENI BAHASA, murid membuat SATU robot menggunakan bahan kitar semula dan bersedia untuk pembentangan dalam tempoh 2 minggu.


c) For the LISTENING and WRITING activity, students' assessment will be based on English language lessons in classroom from January to March.
c) Bagi tugasan KEMAHIRAN MENDENGAR dan MENULIS, penilaian murid akan diberi berdasarkan pembelajaran Bahasa Inggeris di dalam kelas sepanjang Januari sehingga Mac. 


d) Upon the completion of the SPEAKING & LISTENING activities, the reading assessment shall begin. 
d) Setelah tugasan KEMAHIRAN BERCAKAP dan MENDENGAR selesai, penilaian KEMAHIRAN MEMBACA akan dimulakan. 


2. Rubrics have been prepared for each skill so that PARENTS & TEACHERS are clear about the way children are assessed in the classroom. Rubrics have been made based on the YEAR 2 CEFR DSKP.
2. Rubrik telah disediakan bagi setiap kemahiran supaya IBU BAPA & GURU memahami cara murid dinilai di dalam kelas. Rubrik dibuat berdasarkan Dokument Standard Kurikulum & Pentaksiran (DSKP) Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) Tahun 2.



***Ibu bapa tidak perlu mencetak sebarang lembaran yang diberikan. Hanya perlu beri keizinan murid meminjam telefon pintar anda dengan pemantauan. 

***Murid diberi tempoh 2 minggu untuk menyelesaikan segala tugasan yang diberikan. Mohon kerjasama ibu bapa untuk memberi bimbingan dan meminta murid menyelesaikan tugasan dalam tempoh yang diberikan. Penilaian akan dijalankan pada 23 Jun 2020.

Look at Activity 2 - Grammar Focus.


There are two sentences in the blue box.


Let's look at the first one: There's a monster.

There's means there is. You use "There's" for a singular (one) object. For example, "There's a pencil", "There's a desk" or "There's a rubber". These sentences show that there is only ONE pencil, ONE desk, and ONE rubber. Do you understand?

Now, let's look at the second one: There are four cats.

You use "There are" for plural (more than one) objects. For example, "There are two pencils", "There are three desks" or "There are four rubbers". These sentences show that there are TWO pencils (more than one), THREE desks (more than one), and FOUR rubbers (more than one). Do you understand?


If you understand, let's play a game. Look at Activity 3 - Play the description game.


Look at each picture and state ONE description about each picture. Ask your parents to record yourself describing the rooms and send the video to me through Whatsapp. The best video will be chosen to be posted in my blog. Good luck!

For the last mission, you will nee to produce the Greatest Mom certificate for your mother. Print the picture blow (if possible) and fill in the blanks. If you do not have a printer, please draw the certificate on a paper to complete the mission.

Good job agents ! Let's move on to the next one! This is your last mission for this week. You need a printer to complete the mission. If you don't have any printer at home, just complete the second task of the mission. Ask your parents' help if you have any difficulties.


First task:

We are going to make "My House Flip Book". 





First, print all the pictures below. Cut them according to the template. Be careful while using scissors.












Next, if you have finished cutting all the pictures, you need to paste them together.

READ THIS CAREFULLY.

Put the glue only at the backside of the ROOF part for each picture. Follow this sequence when you paste the template. Paste MY HOUSE > BEDROOM > LIVING ROOM > DINING ROOM > KITCHEN > CELLAR. It will become like this :



Second task:

Write ONE description for each room of your house. For example:


For the ones with no printer, just do this task in a piece of paper/notebook.

Ask your parents to snap your picture of 'My House Flip Book' and send to me through Whatsapp. The best picture will be chosen to be posted in my blog. Good luck!
